We have had a promotion in our Wellington Team, which has opened up the opportunity for a Team Leader/Domestic Broker to join the team. 

As a Team Leader, you will manage a team of Domestic Brokers, maintaining a positive and proactive work environment. This will mean you can show your skills in coaching and mentoring (with weekly check ins and monthly 1 on 1s to work through challenges and areas of focus, performance, workloads and career development), while also developing relationships with the direct reports and branch leadership team. Team culture is paramount, so you will need strong leadership skill examples. We are looking for a people focused individual who likes to work hard, have fun and knows how to earn the respect of their direct team and fellow colleagues.

The other element of the role is the Domestic Broking side – where you will be the go-to insurance expert for your clients. You’ll build relationships based on trust and reliability. You will help your clients to have the right insurance in place so their valuable assets are protected and above all you will provide personal service and quality advice. Ideally, you have your Level 5 qualifications (but could also be working your way towards them).
